There is no shortage of quotes honoring music throughout history. Even Albert Einstein once said that were he not a physicist, he might be a musician as he "lived his daydreams in music".
This resonates strongly in my soul and reminds me of my childhood in Ohio where it seemed I spent every waking moment immersed in a musical daydream. It was the place where music became entwined with every aspect of my life.
My hope is this website will help foster my return to a state of mind where daydreaming of music was a worthwhile endevour.

Derrick Hudson is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed in some of the world’s most iconic locations, including Monte Carlo, Auckland, Venice, Istanbul, Singapore, and Rio de Janeiro. Derrick honed his skills as a performer early in his career as guitarist/vocalist in Touched, a top 40, high-energy dance band that toured the east coast of the U.S. extensively. Since 2009, he has been a resident guitarist/vocal, pianist, for various cruise lines including 3 years as a soloist with Seabourn, recently rated the #1 small cruise line in the world, as well as Holland America and P&O Australia cruise lines. Most recently, he accepted a position as the Queens Room vocalist on Cunard's Queen Victoria, where he shared the stage with their fabulous orchestra. Highlighting this remarkable journey was his time as resident musician at Reithi Rah Resort in the Maldives.
